Viagra puts the "sin" in "Sin City"

We all know what Viagra is, so I'm not going to explain that. This commercial then takes the popular song "Viva Las Vegas" and changes it to “Viva Viagra.” What is Las Vegas? Vegas is “sex, drugs, and alcohol”, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”, Vegas is a party. The message this commercial is trying to get out to you the consumer, by invoking this image of Vegas, is that when you pop one of these little blue pills it is like a party for two.
In contrast to this, Viagra covers all its bases and plays a Barry White song for all those who haven’t experienced the lure of the Vegas strip.

I think this ad effectively gets its message across without resorting to any graphic imagery or language that might offend its viewing audience. However, could there be a more ridiculous, obnoxious ad slogan than "Viva Viagra"? Who do they pay to come up with this garbage?

I think this ad is both entertaining and effective. It’s a clever way of getting people to focus and remember the ad, despite its obnoxious slogan (as Jonathan puts it). The fact that it even sticks in your mind as obnoxious mean they got you attention.

I think this ad is effective. it doesn't show any imagery or word abhout the problem which old men have. Also the ad describes the point by indirect approach. it doestn't make audiences to be disgusted with it, also it gets people's attention successfully. Otherwise, for other people without that kind of problem, it is an very funny ad.

This viagra ad, like most I have found out, is very entertaining and is able to get it's point across without crossing any "lines." The use of the tune to "Viva Las Vegas" was a good idea in my opinion since it is catchy and does get your attention. After a while, it go redundant, but in the grand scheme of things, it's only a commercial so who cares?

Yeah I'm guessing it's easier for adults to get this message, because children wouldn't quite catch the gist of it. So I give them credit for that much, but the rest was really lame.

So I think that the advertisement I saw on tv for Viagra is a bit easier to watch. I feel like this one is kinda playing on the existing commercial, however, it still gets the point across.

This ad should be effective because it has a clear target audience. It draws the connection between using this product and having fun. Older people are probably drawn to this product because it shows an older couple who uses the product being lively and youthful.

To agree with most of you that yes this ad is very effective in that it is a catchy way to get people's attention on the use of viagra. It was cute and corny at the same time but if it got to the point then thats it.

I agree with all of you. This is an effective commercial that entertain people and get to its purpose. I love how they change the song from "Viva Las Vegas" to "Viva Virgra".
